Find great buys, save money and time!

I've mentioned ShopItToMe before, as they have a great refer a friend program- but I don't think I have went in detail on explaining how great of a site it is.

The idea behind it is REALLY simple- you sign up, select the clothing brands you like, the major online retailers you shop at, your clothing styles and sizes *and* the amount of discount you are looking for as well as your "top dollar" amount you're wanting to pay. Then you decide how often you want updated with sales that fall into your desired categories.

When you log into your account, you'll basically see this:

For me, 423 items currently are available in my selected categories from various brands like Calvin Klein, Old Navy, Gap, Guess, Macy's etc. All of those items are with a min discount of 20% and a max cost of $10! Clicking on the links actually take you RIGHT to the brand/store website- so you are buying directly from them. ShopItToMe is basically a Personal Shopper- finding you the best deals on your favorite clothing/brands/stores. One great example is the earrings from my last post. Having someone or somesite constantly browsing ans searching for great deals for you- saving you time and money!

Refer a Friend Programs

These are some of my favorite Refer a Friend programs- the concept is the same with all of them, you sign up and get a unique URL to use to refer friends to the site in order to earn anything from products to gift cards. *No purchase is required for any of these programs.

*For RedBox fans.. until March 17th you can earn free rentals by referring friends. Details here.

Inspired Silver: On this program you refer friends for points, and can redeem points at different levels to earn free jewelry.
You can start redeeming points at 10, meaning you normally need to have referred 10 friends. This weekend (3/4-3/6) you get double points per friend- meaning you only need to refer 5 for your first reward.

Shopittome is another awesome program. Instead of products, you refer friends for giftcards to stores like Old Navy, Gap, Itunes, Macy's, Whole Foods and more. Ten friends will earn you a $10 gift card- and neither you or your friends need to ever make a purchase!

Swagbucks isn't exactly a referral program, but you can refer friends to earn extra swagbucks. I installed the toolbar in FireFox and have switched to using the search rather than Google earning me more points. I tend to be too busy to play the games/surveys that can get you extra swagbucks- but I've still be able to earn enough bucks that I'm redeeming them for Amazon Gift cards and saving for Christmas shopping this year!

CrowdtapThis is a interesting Beta program, currently working with brands like Old Navy. You earn points for answering simple questions about brands, and you also earn dollars for random rewards. The "refer" part of this is that you earn $5 for every 5 friends you refer, and can request your payment at $10. *But this program promises an extra benefit- you also will get chances to sample brands/products (Old Navy just "sampled" some of their new spring collection to members) for free.

Candles, Rings, Oh my!

For those not yet following us on Facebook (what are you waiting for?) I wanted to share this with you. One of my FAVORITE pages on FB is Diamond Candles. The concept is simple- an all natural soy based candle (I recommend the Cinnamon Tea!) with a surprise in every candle- a ring worth $10, $100, $1000 or $5000! Its the perfect present (for yourself or someone else).

Anyway, I received my candle today, and tried to wait for the wax to burn off enough that I could find my ring. I helped it out a little, by poking around the melted wax, but the candle is as much as of a prize as the ring so I didn't want to mess it up (the smell is a perfect blend of cinnamon, without being overwhelming and still strong enough I could smell it the next room over slightly).

I made a short video of my adventures in discovering my ring, so here it is:

And, because I may of gotten a bit too excited and managed to get a little wax through and onto the ring, here's a pic of the ring, cleaned up- its BEAUTIFUL! And for the record, my candle- still burning and smelling very yummy!

*Hot* Online Shopping Savings!

It's a slow Friday, so I figured I would round up a list of high discount/rebate/cash back shopping sites for you to check out. These all offer great deals and discounts limited to members only (membership IS free) to popular stores and or discounts sales on general merchandise you'd pay full price for on other sites!

Ebates offers online rebates (Cash Back) for over 1200 stores, including JC Penneys, Target, Walmart, and many many more.

NoMoreRack Okay, I LOVE this place. Daily discount deals with up to 90% off retail. They have a $2 flat shipping rate, and you can get a FREE $10 credit when you sign up. Lots of items are under $20, so it's always a great deal.

SwagBucks- its a search engine, rebate site, and discount site all wrapped into one. You can earn Swagbucks (which you can redeem for thousands of things including Amazon Gift Cards!) by using their search engine feature. You can also earn SBs when you shop their daily deals which often are "buy a $20 gift card for $10 and get *** SBs back" deals. You can also win playing games on the site, watching videos- really the earning options are endless.

ShopItToMe This is another online sales store- you tell them what you like or are interested in- they find you personal shopping deals with great discounts. Shop by brand, product or type.

ShopAtHome This is a great discounts/coupons site. Get 150,000+ free online coupon codes, printable grocery coupons, restaurant coupons and more at ShopAtHome.com!

A lot of these have refer programs, where you can earn gift cards or cash back for each friend that signs up. The great thing about those that do, is that you don't have to make a purchase before you get credited for friends you sign up. You can get friends to sign up via Facebook, Twitter, Email or any method you can come up with- and earn free gifts.

My personal fav might be a tie between No More Rack and SwagBucks- mainly because of the great discounts from NMR and the fact that trading off my normal search toolbar for the Swagbucks one really didn't require that much of a change, and I've already earned a few Amazon Gift Cards.

MindField Surveys

I get asked a lot about internet surveys, and while there are a lot of them out there, I can only really recommend the ones I know of and use. One of probably the top three I use (not including direct surveys from companies like MicroSoft) is Mindfield. I've actually been able to do a good amount of survey's from them, and have racked up a decent amount in my account.

Right now, they are once again accepting applicants- so if you are interested in trying it out, you might want to consider signing up as they limit the number of new applications accepted.

GoodBelly Probiotic Juice Drinks

(Automailed to Blog)
Hey,

I don’t usually do this, but this is such an awesome product and they have some cool things to offer new customers, so I thought you might be interested.

I wanted to tell you about this product called GoodBelly Probiotic Juice Drink. It’s made by a great little start-up in Boulder, CO, started by Steve Demos who founded Silk Soymilk. It’s a really tasty drink (it’s not yogurt) that contains probiotics that really work.

When you sign up for the challenge, they’ll send you coupons to get you started. Whole Foods and lots of other stores that carry GoodBelly around the country just launched a huge GoodBelly sale, too, so it's a great time to try it out.

If you're wondering what probiotics actually do, GoodBelly's team made a cute video to explain: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EBbctbENx3k

Let me know what you think. I’m sure you'll love it.

My trip to Rite Aid

Best Deal of the Week for Rite Aid:

Colgate $2.99 plus $2 Up+ Reward= $0.99 Plus $0.75 coupon in today's paper, final cost: $0.24

My Rite-Aid finally got in the Simplify 4 roll pack of toilet paper that was on sale 2 weeks ago. My rain check allowed me to pick up four of them, for free.

So today's purchases were:

2 Colgate Total Whitening (sale $2.99 apiece plus $0.75 coupon)
4 Simplify 4pck toilet paper FREE
2 Pringles Potato Chips (on sale 2/$3 plus $1/2 coupon today's paper)
2 Jif Peanut Butter (sale 1/$1.99)

I used 2 $1 off Up+ Video Rewards Coupons, and one $1/2 Jif Up+ Video Rewards Coupon.

Total Cost after savings: $7.79 PLUS I earned $6 +Up Rewards Back. (2 $2 per toothpaste, and 2 $1 on Food GRP). $1.79 for all of that isn't too bad of a deal... even without the toilet paper, I would have been happy.

How to AutoFill Forms...

If you are constantly filling out forms online, there is a great way to automate the process. If you are participating in contests, a lot of your "competition" in filling out and submitting those forms are using autofillers.

As mentioned on our facebook page, I've come to see "autofillers" as a needed tool- like them or not, they are certainly here to stay and more and more people will be using them. Not recommending one would be like me knowing of a really good sale, coupon or freebie and NOT sharing it with you. I'm here to help you save money and to bring you great deals... I feel responsible for sharing *all* the tips I have and autofillers are certainly a good tip if you plan on entering a lot of contests.

I personally have to recommend RoboForm, as it has been the simplest, and quickest autoform filler I have found yet. But I want to not only tell you about it, but show you HOW to start using it, so you aren't left in the dark. I think I've done a fairly decent job of explaining it, but if you have any questions- feel free to let me know.
